My mother and I were talking about carpets when the conversation randomly got out of hand.


VERBATIM. And then she went back to talking about carpets. Hours later I'm still loling about this, but also so, so confused.

And just to make this post filled with even more wtf - adraekh mentioned that when she said the name Skipper from the Redwall series, she automatically thought of Skip Muck. My mind instantly went to a very bad place, namely, REDWALL/BoB CROSSOVER, and then, because no one was there to stop me, I wrote this. Uh. In like, ten minutes and unedited, with some laughable attempts at the Redwall dialects. adraekh gets credit for the rat's name.

And finally, my friend dragged me to go see Robin Hood (which ...blah) and damn, Scott Grimes, your beard is getting a little crazy there.

Dear architects: If you've ever had the urge to design a building on a college campus that involves thousands of bricks, multiple stories, tiled walls, and a long row of windows, please save all the CoA students down the road some pain and don't. JUST DON'T.

Let's just all work in one-story, stucco buildings or something, man. With, like, one giant window. Fellow architecture students, make it happen! It will be so avant-garde the world will have no choice but to accept it.
